Union Affiliation – No Employment

unionThere are specific cases where in an employer will refuse to hire you based on your affiliation with a very active union which is totally uncalled for and it is against the law. But being an applicant, the way they got to know may be far within your grasp so take their word for it if they say they know your affiliations, they would surely know more than you think they do. Losing employment due to such associations should be brought ot the attention of the respective labor organizations for it is against the law, but being an applicant, you may have been long gone to find that out. No organization would want whistle-blowers in their ranks or cry-babies who run to their union’s at the slightest sign of trouble. Most companies have the knack of trying to mediate and take care of labor disputes internally before they turn to outside help for it tends to ruin their image and can affect their standing in the community.
