A job as a loan officer mostly includes review and submission of important paper works. A loan officer is responsible in processing and assisting a prospective borrower with their application forms, requirements and other pre requisites. They are the ones to validate that the information submitted by the borrower are all true and verifiable. They contact former or current employers, credit card institutions and previous instance of loan from other institutions. Loan officers sell services and products that the particular bank offers, so basically their forte is in the areas of consumer and commercial field. They are highly trained to provide customer support and to be able to resolve troubles either via mail or phone.
